We are all amazed at how there are people (or sometimes we refer to them as “superhumans”) who are truly awesome at doing great things.

From artists to writers, teachers to high scoring students, entrepreneurs and marketplace leaders … you may find yourself wondering how you could get to be like them or have abilities near as amazing as them.

Allow me give the assurance that you already have in you the seed form of greatness that you can begin with—they are your talents; I’m talking about your skills here.

And that you can multiply your talents and do bigger works that you could possibly imagine.

Instead of giving you the top 10 tips to multiply your talents, here’s just a couple of them that’s based on Psalms 41:1.

Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble. ~ Psalms 41:1, New International Version

Bring Your A-Game In Helping Others

You may already be excelling in an area and are have the skills that complement someone that you already know; such as your friends or family members.

Start finding an area where your skills can help them, and actually be there to see to it that things get done.

Let’s say that you’ve mastered the art of getting startups from seed to profitability, and that you know a friend who is a hustler — as in will be willing to learn and put in real effort in applying to get things done — and perhaps having troubles in getting started; walk in, contribute by being the solution, and see to it that things get up and running.

Jesus brought His A-game when He saw Simon Peter, an experienced fisherman, having trouble one day and came in as the solution—not a weak one, but the solution that exceeded the imaginations of the guys who were at the scene.

So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.
~ Luke 5:1-6, New King James Version

Commending, Not Condemning

There will be people who will be weak in a handful of areas, let’s not go out in a mission to condemn and calling them “weak”.

Instead, look beyond the things that he / she is frustrated in and find out the things that excite them, and seek out their strengths.

Then commend them for what they excel in, and complement them by working or creating a new project with the skills that you have, see to it that things get up and running, and you’ll notice the following 3 things happening:

1. You’ll see breakthroughs

Entrepreneurs will see business booming, and students will see improvements in results (especially in areas you may be once weaker at) … growth and breakthroughs are inevitable.

2. You’ll see new dreams and visions

You’ll won’t definitely stop after your first success—you aren’t made to be a one-hit wonder. Your group will see new dreams and visions that will enable everyone to progress.

3. You’ll see your talents multiplying

We are all forward moving people. As your dreams and visions expand, there will be new challenges up against you (and your team). No worries. Your previous success would have equipped you with the skills needed for the next. Your talents will multiply along with your growth.

You have been given a huge privilege to have tremendous access to a handful group of people.

Many have been placed into your life in different seasons.

Some will get to be in close proximity of you.

While a handful will be the ones you will grow together with for your lifetime.

This group of people, aren’t just any friends or acquaintance that you’ve met sometime in your life. They are those whom you will fight tooth and nail for, battle long distances, and go the extra mile to build up each other and strengthen the friendship that you all have!

Here are some examples of friends whom great leaders had been willing to fight for.

Even kings and greatness have friends worth fighting for

Many people will have a strong group of friends whom they will grow with, through constant encouragement, building one another up, and constantly building stronger ties while caring for each other.

I have my group of close friends who we’ll be willing to drop every other task just to meet up and chill out.

Even heroes in society will have groups of great friends helping each other from zero to greatness. One of today’s example is Sergey Brin and Larry Page for starting a little known search-engine project — that eventually grew into a behemoth of a business breakthrough called Google — together.

In legends we have King Arthur paving the way for Lancelot — while Lancelot grew to become the finest of all the knights in the kingdom.

Historical figures too have well known stories of how great friends will fight for each other even when the odds are heavily stacked against them.

Think, King David and Jonathan (son of Saul). Jonathan did everything in his power and might to keep David out of trouble, and fought battles together, and making sure that the throne passed onto the hands of the rightful owner — King David.

How about the fellowship of the 12 disciples? With more than 70 over disciples that Jesus had, the 12 chose to stick together and went across borders with one another, battling storms and raging seas with each other, and definitely went all out to keep each other strengthened despite not knowing what the future had in store for them.

Jesus shed His blood

And then… there’s Jesus. Who went all out for His disciples, protecting them and guiding them to their calling, while empowering them to achieve their highest potential (turned Simon the wavering individual to become Peter the rock of confidence, got Saul the persecutor to become Paul the apostle of salvation).

In spite of being there for His disciples and for the people who seek His presence, He was still sent onto the cross, leading to the crucifixion, and then leaving His body totally in a mess, nailed down and bones broken, with blood slowly dripping away from every open would on His body.

He went beyond fighting tooth and nails for you. He shed His blood so that you can be in His presence today.

Beyond the cross — today with your friends

Thankfully, you don’t have to go through all that to show that you treasure and value your friends — carrying your cross in your daily journey is a good enough burden to handle.

Beyond the cross, you may have over hundreds or thousands of friends and people whom you have been acquainted with through the years…

Like Jesus, who went through thick and thin for His 12 disciples; who then are your friends that you will go through the bad times and the good, fighting principalities, time, and distance to be in the midst of one another — and building each other up?

We love our friends! You are created as a relational being, and it is to our pleasure that we can have great companionship with our group of buddies to hang out with, chit-chat, or walk, talk, and be around with.

And in times like this, where we’ve been all busy like bees.

Here’s the three things, you can do ‘em, that will rock your friends’ world today:

1. Go out for an evening walk

Walks are cool.

It’s the breeze and the fellowship that makes it fun. There’s also a health benefit by burning off the calories after a good hearty dinner!

2. Morning tea

Mornings have been replaced by the heavy rush of traffic to work (or from work – for those working the graveyard hours).

How nice would it be if your friends and you can have a good breakfast, by having some morning tea (and pastries too!).

3. Sending a praise message anytime!

Last, but never the least – in fact, it’s essential, send out a praise message right here on Praisewall!

A good post here may cheer a friend up, let them know that they’re loved.

It’s all simply to love one another.

Have you rocked your friends’ world today?
